Happy Monday everyone,

I hope you guys had an amazing weekend. today I have a life/ pregnancy update for you.
2 weeks ago I was at the gynecologist and he took blood for a blood sugar/ glucose test. Each women has to do the test between 24th and the 28th pregnancy week to see how the blood sugar value is.

When the test results arrived last week, I got a call from my doctor, and he told me that my blood glucose levels were not that good.  That means we needed to re-run the test with an increased dose of sugar.
So I had a new appointment last Friday and we did the test with an increased dose. Hopefully, the test results will be better, otherwise I will be classified as a high-risk pregnant with pregnancy diabetes.
to clarify that, pregnancy diabetes is a condition in which a woman without diabetes develops high blood sugar levels during pregnancy, of course it can go away after pregnancy.

do you guys have experiences with it? would love to know. Oh and as you can see, my baby bump is getting bigger and bigger :-P on thursday my 28th week starts.

This is a beautiful look and your red dress is so pretty. Love the pop of color! You look lovely. 😀 My doctor gave me an evil eye when I was pregnant with my son because I was gaining weight a little too fast. I was craving a lot of carbs and she warned me that I can potentially pass on diabetes to my baby. I got lucky and passed the glucose tolerance test but I have had friends who weren’t so lucky. They said they had to do 3 hour test and if they didn’t pass then they were placed on special diet and had to check their blood sugar at every meal. So keeping my fingers crossed for you that you don’t need to go through that. I hope this helps and wishing you a happy Monday!
